Introduction

I specialize in treatment-resistant OCD and tic disorders/Tourette Syndrome. Is it anxious rumination or an obsession? A tic or a compulsion? These differences are often misunderstood, but they can make a real difference in getting the right kind of help. I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults with OCD and tic disorders using ERP, I-CBT, and CBIT. Many of the people I work with have tried therapy before without the relief they were hoping for. I aim to provide clear, practical, and supportive treatment, with flexible session options to help make steady progress between appointments. I have 9 years of experience treating OCD and related disorders using Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP) and additional training in Inference-Based CBT (I-CBT). I also have specialized training and 3 years of experience providing Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). While OCD and tic disorders are my primary specialties, I also treat trauma and PTSD using EMDR. My practice is especially suited for complex cases, co-occurring conditions, and clients seeking specialized care when previous treatment has not provided lasting relief.
