Introduction

You Aren’t Broken—You’re Just Highly Tuned. Have you spent your life being told you’re "too sensitive," "too emotional," or that you "take things too personally"? As a Highly Sensitive Person (HSP) and a therapist, I know that your sensitivity isn't a flaw—it's a sophisticated nervous system that has been navigating a world that wasn't built for it. When you’ve spent years absorbing the energy of others and feeling overwhelmed by your environment, your "Protector" parts (IFS) can become hyper-vigilant, leading to burnout and anxiety. I help you peel back those layers of protection to find the strength in your sensitivity. How We’ll Work Together: Polyvagal Mapping: We start by "befriending" your nervous system, learning how to move you out of sensory overwhelm and back into a state of calm and safety. IFS (Internal Family Systems): We will meet the parts of you that feel "too much" and learn how to lead your life from a place of "Self-energy" rather than reactive overwhelm. EMDR: For an HSP, traditional therapy can sometimes feel like it just scratches the surface. We use EMDR to process the "micro-traumas" of being misunderstood, allowing your brain to finally file away old hurts without flooding your system. I don’t just understand the HSP experience from a textbook—I live it. Together, we’ll move beyond just "coping" and help you build a life that honors your deep-processing brain.
