You don’t have to spend years in therapy to make meaningful changes in your life. Sometimes the right approach, at the right time, can help you finally move through what has kept you stuck. The right therapist can change everything. For more than 20 years, I’ve helped individuals and couples work through the experiences that keep them stuck and move toward greater peace, connection, and confidence. I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, an EMDR Certified Therapist, and the founder of Counseling for Your Success and Aquatic Psychotherapy®. My approach is active, compassionate, and individualized. I draw from EMDR, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, nervous-system regulation, experiential approaches, and other evidence-informed techniques. I don’t believe therapy should feel like simply talking about the same problems week after week. We work together to understand what is happening, address what is underneath it, and help create meaningful change. I have particular experience helping people with trauma, anxiety, relationship difficulties, life transitions, and those moments when life simply isn’t working the way you want it to anymore. I also work with couples who want to understand each other differently, repair old wounds, and reconnect. My professional curiosity about how our environment and nervous system influence healing led me to develop Aquatic Psychotherapy®, an innovative approach that incorporates the restorative properties of water into psychotherapy. Aquatic work is an option, and traditional office-based therapy remains an important part of my practice. Certain water-based individual and group opportunities are offered exclusively to current clients. After more than two decades as a therapist, I still believe one of the most rewarding parts of this work is watching someone realize that something they have carried for years no longer has to have the same hold on them. I am currently accepting new clients. If you are ready for something to change, I would be honored to help you find a way forward.
