Introduction

Welcome to Creative Counseling, PLLC. I work with adults, teens and children to address a variety of needs including adjustment issues; relationship, family and work stressors; acute stress/traumatic incidents; anxiety symptoms; depression symptoms; behavioral issues and more complex mental health care needs. I use a wide range of therapy approaches because some individuals are comfortable talking about their concerns in detail and some are not. Together we discuss intervention approaches and decide which approaches may work best for you. I encourage you to call and arrange a time to meet for a brief consultation to help you decide if you would like to move forward with therapy services with me. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW); nationally Registered Play Therapist (RPT); nationally certified AutPlay Therapist (for adults, youth and children with neurodiversity including Autism, ADHD, and Developmental/Cognitive needs), trained in trauma therapy, and a Master level Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) provider. I attended the Critical Incident Stress Management Training and the first Responder Cultural Competency for Mental Health Professionals (September 2025). I know it can be difficult to reach out to ask questions or seek help. I take the time to meet with you to visit with you in person about your needs and help you decide if I am the right fit for you or your child. We discuss your needs and how I will partner with you to provide therapy services to meet your needs and goals. I provide a sliding fee scale, based on verified income, for individuals without insurance or individuals who desire to self-pay. If your insurance is not listed, I may be out of network. You may contact your insurance company to ask if I am a covered provider or to visit with your insurance about submitting self-claims for reimbursement.
