Hi, welcome! My name is Sandrine, and I am an eating disorder and mental health therapist. I work with teens, young adults, LGBTQ+ individuals and adults. My approach is warm, welcoming and culturally sensitive. I believe that for clients to make progress, the therapist needs to be able to balance providing a warm non judgmental space while at same time being comfortable with challenging clients to foster growth. This is how I show up in my work with clients. I am licensed by the State of North Carolina, and provide Telehealth counseling to people anywhere in NC. I would love to hear more about YOU, and ways I can best support you in your health and wellness journey. What populations do I work with? *Individuals struggling with eating disorders, men or women, teens and adults. You may also be experiencing body image distress, but feel powerless when it comes to managing it all. *Neurodiverse individuals: You might struggle with executive function, attention, social situations or more. You spend a lot of time analyzing trying to make sense of your brain and the way you navigate the world. You may have been called sensitive or even careless and even though it doesn't make sense, you still struggle with shame. *Perfectionists: You are high functioning on the outside and carry it all so well, but still feel exhausted and drained on the inside. *Women in their 30s to mid life trying to figure it out (married or unmarried) and or working on their identity. *People pleasers: You struggle to acknowledge or even voice your needs. You spend a lot of time and energy giving to others, but leave nothing for yourself. *Anxious individuals who might struggle with overthinking, spiraling, self sabotaging etc. *Immigrants from different backgrounds. I am in network with BCBS and Aetna. I also do self pay and offer reduced fees or low slides where appropriate. If you are ready to start therapy today, contact me, and let's get you the care you deserve.
