You’ve done the self-help work. You’ve powered through. But you still feel stuck. If you're constantly battling anxiety, shame, or disconnection—even though you're smart, self-aware, and trying—therapy can offer a different way forward. I work with adults who’ve experienced developmental and relational trauma—people who’ve learned to survive by pushing down their needs, staying hyper-independent, or working overtime to keep others happy. You may look like you’re doing fine from the outside, but inside, you’re exhausted. Disconnected. Overwhelmed. You don’t need more pressure to “fix” yourself. You need a safe space to slow down and reconnect—with your body, your emotions, and the parts of you that were never allowed to fully exist. In our work together, you’ll start to: Understand why you react the way you do Set boundaries without guilt Get out of your head and into your body Build relationships that actually feel safe and mutual I’m Sandy Brown, a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor Candidate. Clients often tell me they feel deeply supported, seen, and grounded in our work. Therapy with me isn’t about judgment or quick fixes—it’s about creating real, sustainable change from the inside out. Sessions are available in person in Denver or virtually throughout Colorado.
