Introduction

Hi! My name is Sandy Shannon and I am Interwoven Roots! My deepest desire for you is to know yourself more profoundlly by disentangling from experiences that affect how you interact with yourself, others and the world. Let me help you find beauty in all these areas through healthy deconstruction and learning to grow in connection with all things. Everything in this life is connected. I specialize in Gottman Methods couples counseling (Level 2) and have specific training in treating PTSD and infidelity. I am a firm believer in healing in relationship with others whether you begin this journey individually or in partnership. Having had 24+ years of working in mental health, with specific training in exploring and navigating trauma of all kinds as well as anxiety, depression, adjustment issues, belonging, spirituality and ADHD, I am comfortable meeting your needs. As a middle-aged woman I have a particular devotion to helping others navigate and adjust to changes at this particular stage of life. Most importantly, I highly value diversity and welcome all to my space.
