Introduction

About Anchor Well Anchor Well is a Texas-based mental health practice offering thoughtful, relationship-centered care for individuals, couples, and families. We believe meaningful support begins with respect - for your story, your pace, and the season of life you’re in. Our approach is grounded in clinical integrity and a deep commitment to honoring trust. We understand that reaching out for support often comes with hesitation, questions, or uncertainty. At Anchor Well, care doesn’t begin with assumptions or labels - it begins with listening. Our Foundation Anchor Well was founded by Sara Alexander, M.A., LPC, who serves as Co-Founder and Clinical Director. Sara brings years of experience serving individuals and families across school, nonprofit, and private practice settings, with a particular focus on women’s mental health, prenatal and postpartum care, and supporting parents and families through complex transitions. Her clinical leadership shapes the standards of care across Anchor Well, ensuring each client experience reflects thoughtfulness, discretion, and evidence-informed practice. Sara’s work is guided by an eclectic therapeutic approach that integrates empirically supported modalities while honoring each client’s unique needs, values, and intuition. Our Team Anchor Well is a growing team of licensed clinicians who share a commitment to compassionate, ethical, and relationship-driven care. While each provider brings their own training, perspective, and clinical voice, all care at Anchor Well is shaped by shared values of respect, collaboration, steadiness, and professional excellence. Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or continuing an ongoing journey, our team is here to support you with care that moves at the right pace. A Personal Note Anchor Well was built with the understanding that life is rarely static. Seasons shift, responsibilities grow, and support needs change. Our hope is that this space feels like a place where you can begin, pause, or continue the conversation when it feels right. We would be honored to walk with you as you seek healing, clarity, and steadiness in this season.
