Introduction

As a licensed psychologist with over 15 years of experience, I recognize the gravity of addressing one's mental health needs as we navigate the world today and the importance of finding the best provider to fit one's unique needs. One of the most crucial variables in successful therapeutic outcomes is the strength of the client/therapist relationship, so included below is a snippet about my clinical approach to psychotherapy and mental health. I work to provide a non-judgmental, open, warm, culturally sensitive, and collaborative space for my patients. As a health psychologist, I assess ways in which mental health and physical health intersect and I have gained valuable experiences working with all ages and demographics, primarily within the physical medicine and health settings, prior to starting my own private practice. I believe in the power of the mind, in the importance of interpersonal connection, the value of goals and perseverance, and the use of humor throughout (sometimes the best coping skill around). I am a licensed provider in the State of Florida, however, I am also a member of PsyPact, and can conduct telehealth for self-pay clients in any of the 43 states that are also a part of PsyPact. To learn if your state is a member, check this webpage for up to date enrollment: https://psypact.org/mpage/psypactmap. Please contact me if you have questions or would like to set up a free consultation call. I do offer a sliding scale and I do believe in connecting you to the right provider, even if that provider is not me, so it is never time wasted.
