Your Brain Isn't Broken — It Just Works Differently If you have spent years feeling behind, distracted, overwhelmed, or like you are always one step from falling apart — you are not lazy, careless, or broken. You may simply have a brain that works differently. And you may have never had a therapist who truly understood what that means. I am Sara, a bilingual licensed therapist who specializes in working with adults navigating ADHD, neurodivergence, anxiety, depression, grief, and the exhaustion that comes from living in a world that was not designed for your brain. My approach is warm, practical, and built around how you actually think — not how the world expects you to. Therapy with me is a space where you do not have to mask, push through, or apologize for who you are. Together we figure out what works for your brain, your life, and your goals. How I Help ADHD & Neurodivergent Adults If you have been diagnosed with ADHD — or suspect it has been part of your story all along — I offer therapy that goes beyond symptom management. Drawing on specialized ADHD coaching training and evidence-based approaches, I help adults understand their own brain wiring, build routines that actually stick, address the anxiety and self-doubt that often come with a lifetime of struggling, and develop real strategies for focus, time management, emotional regulation, and self-advocacy. Many of my clients are adults who received a late diagnosis, or who are still figuring out whether ADHD explains so much of what they have experienced. You do not need a formal diagnosis to start here. Grief Therapy (Certified Grief Informed Professional) Loss takes many forms — a loved one, a relationship, a pet, a career, or even grieving the years before you understood yourself. I use compassionate, individualized approaches to help you honor what you have lost and find a new way of navigating the world without rushing you toward closure. Grief is a universal experience, and you do not have to face it alone. CBT for Insomnia (CBTi Certified) Sleep disruption is especially common among adults with ADHD. CBTi is a research-supported, non-medication approach that addresses the thoughts and behaviors keeping you awake — and for many clients, better sleep changes everything else. If anxiety or an overactive mind has taken over your nights, this approach may be exactly what you have been looking for. Motivational Interviewing & Solution-Focused Therapy These approaches are a natural fit for adults who want to move forward with intention. We identify what is already working, reconnect with your strengths, and set goals that feel achievable for your brain — not overwhelming. Sessions tend to be focused, practical, and forward-moving.
