Introduction

Feel like you are getting nowhere trying to make important changes on your own? Are you worried it might be an eating disorder? See if this sounds familiar. Are you: • persistently foggy, annoyed, isolated, overwhelmed? • unable to stop under and/or overeating to the point that it is impacting your health? • consumed with self-criticism or envious comparisons about your appearance? • compensating for intake with self-destructive behaviors? • in constant conflict with your loved ones about all this? I help people in distress about food and/or their bodies break out of this relentless loop. I also work with parents/guardians, partners, friends and allies. My approach is compassionate, direct and holistic—a blend of mind- and body-focused techniques—allowing us to pivot between talking, sensing and moving, as needed and when ready, to actively work on getting somewhere. This can be powerful for anyone who has been frustrated with traditional talk therapy. My experience includes working with patients and their family/partners/supports at higher levels of care focused on eating disorders and co-occurring disorders of trauma, OCD, anxiety, and depression. The first step is to click on the "REQUEST APPOINTMENT" button to schedule a free 15-minute consultation so we can introduce ourselves and explore fit. Then we can take the next steps together. “Nothing happens until something moves.” ~ Albert Einstein
