If you are looking into therapy, showing up can be the hardest part. I am looking forward to meeting you as you are. If you are seeking a space where you don’t have to explain yourself, be strong, be what others expect you to be, or are looking to be seen and heard, then this is the place for you. Processing life experiences is expressly unique for every individual, and I am looking forward to walking with you and cheering you on through whatever life has thrown your way. I am here to support you. Together we can discover what therapy looks like for you and your lived experience. My approach to therapy is warm, welcoming, and collaborative. We will work together to discover and learn what feels and works best for you in therapy. I believe our body lets us know how we are feeling, sometimes before our mind is ready, like when our palms sweat when we are nervous or we get a lump in our throat before we cry. Taking time to pause and listen to our body can add another layer in identifying how we feel. Together we can discover how your mind and body work together to help you move forward. Growth and healing look different for every person and whatever shape it takes for you is the right one. I am an associate mental health counselor who is a board-certified dance movement therapist. My experience includes working in a pediatric medical setting providing therapeutic support to patients and families experiencing grief, anxiety, and medical trauma. I have worked with children and adolescents struggling with anxiety, depression, and identity in day treatment and inpatient settings using DBT, body awareness, and coping skills. My therapy practice has given me the opportunity to work with people of all ages. I am passionate about creating a safe, warm, and welcoming environment for people of all ages, backgrounds, and life circumstances. I look forward to walking with you on your therapeutic journey. Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy doing musical theater, having a good meal with friends, time with family, and traveling to places new and old. I love a good adventure!
