Introduction

I’m a licensed clinical social worker in California and New York, and I work with adults navigating life with ADHD and AuDHD—whether formally diagnosed or self-identified. Many of the people I work with are living with neurodivergence, emotional intensity, sensory sensitivity, chronic burnout, or fluctuating capacity tied to hormonal shifts. You might notice that your focus, energy, mood, or emotional regulation change dramatically across your cycle or life stages—making it hard to trust your own functioning or feel consistent in how you show up. You may find yourself masking to get through the day, overthinking your reactions, or cycling between periods of relative ease and times when everything feels harder. This can create confusion, self-doubt, or a sense that you should be able to “do better” if you just tried harder—especially when your abilities seem to change without a clear reason. Our work is collaborative, warm, and grounded in nervous system awareness. I practice from a neurodivergent-affirming, relational perspective that helps you make sense of these shifts, build self-trust, and develop ways of living that work with your rhythms rather than against them. Whether you’re seeking more steadiness, exploring identity, or simply looking for a space where you don’t have to explain or perform, I’m here to walk alongside you. ADHD, Hormones, and Shifting Capacity For many people with ADHD or AuDHD, hormonal changes can significantly intensify ADHD-related challenges—especially in the days or weeks leading up to menstruation. You might notice that focus drops, emotional regulation feels harder, sensory input becomes more overwhelming, or tasks that once felt manageable suddenly feel impossible. In our work, we focus on understanding these patterns through a nervous-system lens, reducing shame around fluctuating capacity, and building supports that adapt to your rhythms rather than expecting constant consistency.
