I work as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with a deep commitment to collaborative, client-centered care. I see therapy as a partnership—your feedback matters, and I regularly check in to ensure we're addressing what truly matters to you in ways that feel helpful and aligned with your values. I work with young adults and adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, life transitions, burnout, and existential questions. I also specialize in supporting people living with cancer and those in caregiver roles. My toolkit draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), somatic approaches, attachment-based work, as well as Psychobiological Approach to Couple Therapy (PACT) and the Gottman Method for couples. I bring cultural sensitivity and a psychobiological lens to our work together. I offer both in-person and telehealth sessions and accept Optum insurance. I'm not currently accepting new clients, but I encourage you to reach out—I may be able to refer you to someone who's a good fit. https://www.sarahbarbozalcsw.com/
