Introduction

Sarah is a licensed clinical social worker who provides therapy to individuals across the lifespan, specializing in Trauma. Sarah has spent years working with individuals who have experienced domestic violence, sexual assaults, sexual abuse, and child abuse and neglect. Sarah is also dedicated to supporting LGBT+ individuals and parents of LGBT+ children in growing their understanding of how to lovingly support their child. Sarah practices Trauma Informed Therapy. The effects of trauma can look like many other mental health diagnoses and people can often be misdiagnosed with Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, or Oppositional Defiance Disorder, Generalized Anxiety, or Depression. Sarah is trained in EMDR and will work with you to figuring a plan to heal. Sarah practices with cultural humility and is comfortable working with people from many different cultures and backgrounds. Sarah feels that everyone's journey is their own and should be treated with care and respect.
