When life moves at such a rapid pace, it's easy to lose touch with ourselves. I support clients to find optimal life balance through attention to emotional, mental, physical and spiritual needs. With empathy and focused listening, I'll help you explore what's needed most and how to bring it back into daily living. With 30+ years of experience as a clinical social worker working in healthcare settings and community mental health, I will guide you through difficult life transitions such as living with illness, relationship challenges, grief and bereavement or navigating the role of adult caregiver. In addition, I will help guide development of resiliency skills to manage challenging emotions like heightened anxiety and depression. Through a reassuring and supportive environment, you'll feel safe to explore issues or life events that are preventing you from living a more enjoyable and fulfilling life. My skills are rooted in family systems theory using elements of acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and mindfulness techniques. I also work using a trauma informed lens. Staying balanced and managing life's stressors is possible with refreshed and updated coping strategies and tools. I find my life balance through gardening, hiking, yoga and meditation, group exercise, volunteering, travel and cooking. If you have questions or think we might be a good fit, I look forward to hearing from you. I offer a free 15-minute consultation. Be Well!
