Our minds have this incredible ability to live in the past, present, and future. Oftentimes, this can prevent us from being fully connected with our lives. We get trapped in thoughts of pain, anxiety, doubt, and other things that can contribute to a loss of identity, purpose, or hope. All of this makes it difficult to manage our emotions, behaviors, and can impact what matters most to us. My goal as a therapist is to work with you to help you identify places in your life that keep you stuck. We will work together to confront the circumstances in your life that make you feel disconnected. We will identify the strengths that you already have and help build upon your own resources while establishing new tools through the therapeutic process to make the changes and growth you hope to see. Therapy can be a tool to provide a sense of relief and a safe space to grow and heal. Though I specialize in addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and OCD, I enjoy working with anybody who is facing challenges in their life.
