Introduction

Our minds have this incredible ability to live in the past, present, and future. Oftentimes, this can prevent us from being fully connected with our lives. We get trapped in thoughts of pain, anxiety, doubt, and other things that can contribute to a loss of identity, purpose, or hope. All of this makes it difficult to manage our emotions and relationships. My goal as a therapist is to work with you to help you identify places in your life that keep you stuck. We will work together to confront the circumstances in your life that make you feel disconnected. We will identify the strengths that you already have and help build upon your own resources while establishing new tools through the therapeutic process to make changes to help you feel less stuck. As human beings, we strive to make sense of our world - both our internal and external experiences. I often utilize an Acceptance & Commitment Therapy approach with clients, but I like to blend other modalities including CBT/CPT, and DBT. I enjoy utilizing my client's own strengths to help them gain insight into their abilities to make real change.
