Grief is something we all experience. Grieving some-thing rather than some-one can be particularly isolating and can leave you feeling fractured. I understand what it’s like to be grieving even though no one has died. I know how hard it can be to suddenly lose your plans, your dreams, or your health. Working together, we can find closure, increase your sense of control, develop effective coping skills, and help you return to wholeness. My passion lies in helping people handle grief and adjustment, especially when it seems as if the world moved on like it never even happened. I work with non-bereavement grief, cancer survivorship, LGBTQIA+ issues, chronic pain and illness, and adjusting to disability. I use a person-centered approach to counseling, with a primary focus on developing awareness and acceptance. Providing you with a safe, nonjudgmental space where you will be met with empathy and respect is my priority.
