Hello! I am is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate (License #21097A). I graduated in 2026 with my Master of Arts in Christian Marital, Family, and Individual Counseling from Southeastern in Wake Forest, NC. Prior to that, I graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Science: Child and Family Services in 2021. I have experience working in other cultural contexts and love partnering with clients from varying backgrounds. I have spent more than a decade working with kids from birth through the teenage years. In public schools, childcare, church settings, and summer camps. I've put a lot of hours into caring for children and teens and find great joy in helping them learn and grow in the context of counseling now. Both my experience and my own story have brought me to the work of counseling. I am not the answer to your problems, but I truly believe that by working together in counseling, you can see tangible change even in areas that may feel hopeless now. As a counselor, I seek to provide a warm and welcoming space for clients. I am passionate about walking with clients through their struggles or suffering and endeavor to help them find hope and healing. Through empathy, gentleness, and genuine care, I strive to create a space where clients can freely express themselves and work through hard things. My desire is to to truly know clients and their unique stories in order to equip them with the support and resources that they desire. My approach to counseling incorporates multiple theories including Internal Family Systems Theory (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I tailor my counseling approach to the needs, story, and preferences of each client. I am also comfortable integrating faith into counseling at the client’s request. My scope of practice includes but is not limited to the following areas: anxiety, OCD, self-harm, trauma, abuse, family conflict, chronic illness, life transitions, cross-cultural stress, and women's issues. I also offer couples counseling. I take people of all ages as clients including children, teens, and adults. I meet with clients both in person and online. In my spare time, I love crafty or creative activities. To rest, I crochet, paint, craft, or just sit outside with a cup of chai and watch the birds. No bio can answer every question, but I hope this gives you a peek at who I am and what counseling could look like.
