Sarah is an LCSW with more than 15 years of experience in the mental health field; she earned her Master of Social Work from Virginia Commonwealth University. Sarah currently provides online therapy services in the evenings to support accessibility and flexibility. She has a passion especially for helping children develop emotional regulation, learn to identify and express emotions, and heal from trauma. Sarah provides therapy for children, adolescents, young adults, and adults. The primary methods she utilizes in session include cognitive behavioral therapy, attachment theory, and family systems theory, within a trauma-informed framework. She enjoys walking with individuals through women’s issues, grief and loss, chronic illness, anxiety, and family system dysfunction. Sarah’s goal is to create a safe, supportive space where therapy feels natural, engaging, and empowering.
