I am a Licensed Social Worker (LSW) in the State of Ohio. I earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from The Ohio State University. Following completion of my undergraduate degree, I became licensed and completed an internship in public schools as a Student Support Specialist, where I focused on the well-being and mental health of children ages 8–18. This early experience deepened my passion for supporting youth in navigating emotional and developmental challenges. After earning my Master’s degree, I worked as a medical social worker where I supported patients and families as they navigated acute medical challenges, recovery, and the emotional stress that often accompanied injury and treatment. This work strengthened my ability to provide compassionate, goal-oriented, and grounded support during times of uncertainty. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and families, and am especially passionate about supporting clients experiencing anxiety, stress, life transitions, and adjustment-related challenges. My approach is warm, collaborative, and strengths based. I believe that building a trusting, supportive relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth, and I strive to create a space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered. My current supervisor at the Center for Personal Wellness is Becki Encinas, MSW, LISW-S. I draw from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and solution-focused approaches to help clients build coping skills and confidence in navigating life’s challenges. What drives my work as a therapist is the opportunity to walk alongside clients as they discover their resilience and create meaningful change in their lives. I believe that growth is always possible, even during difficulty, and small steps can lead to powerful transformation.
