Hi, I’m Sarah Knapp. I became a Mental Health Counselor because I have seen how individuals can grow into their most authentic and empowered self with meaningful support. It is an honor to walk with people through the challenges and successes of life. Being there in moments of adversity and celebrating achievements, I find this as a never-ending inspiration. I strive to create an environment that is non-judgement and safe, allowing for genuine connection. In my work, I have supported adults with depression, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, grief, schizophrenia, and mood disorders. I have experience facilitating both group and individual sessions. This experience has given me a greater, holistic perspective of ways to support individuals on their journey to healing. I strive to appreciate each individual unique experience and history that comes with them to counseling. The basis of my approach is rooted in warmth, collaboration, openness, and person-centered. My goal is for our sessions to be a place where you can reflect, explore, and connect with your most authentic self. I love this work because I get to witness people grow into a more empowered self or rediscovering themselves that they thought was lost forever. If you are ready to take this step, I would be thrilled to explore your unique journey with you! I use she/her/hers pronouns.
