Introduction

Hi, I’m Sarah Leveillee, a licensed mental health counselor offering online therapy to adults throughout Rhode Island. I believe that finding the right therapist matters and that meaningful change begins with a strong, supportive therapeutic relationship. My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, feel comfortable, and say what’s actually on your mind. I work with adults across Rhode Island who may feel stuck in cycles of worry, overthinking, or uncertainty. Many clients seek therapy for anxiety, depression, stress, and life transitions, while others may feel disconnected, irritable, or unlike themselves. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start therapy. Sometimes just knowing something feels “off” is enough. These challenges often arise during major life changes, when emotional support is especially important. With over a decade of experience in the counseling field, I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety disorders, depression, perinatal mental health (including postpartum depression and anxiety), self-esteem issues, substance use, and life transitions. I have completed advanced training through Postpartum Support International and understand that pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, and early parenthood can be overwhelming. Many parents face anxiety, mood changes, identity shifts, and the challenge of balancing self-care with caregiving responsibilities. My approach is collaborative, down-to-earth, and grounded in respect. I listen carefully without judgment while offering thoughtful feedback, gentle challenges, and practical insights when helpful. In my work with clients, I support them in developing a deeper understanding of their thoughts, feelings, and physical experiences. I help create space for self-compassion and guide clients in identifying and focusing on the things that matter most to them. If you’re looking for online therapy in Rhode Island, I invite you to reach out to learn more or schedule a consultation.
