Introduction

Your messiness is welcome. Your inner contradictions are welcome. Through the process of therapy, you will practice seeing and being seen. It takes incredible courage to reach for connection, within ourselves and with others. I am committed to building a connected relationship with you that will be the foundation and vehicle of healing that occurs in therapy. I have experience working with people with a wide range of symptoms and concerns, including complex and acute trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, ADHD, relationship and attachment issues, grief/loss, major life transitions, and identity exploration. I appreciate working with neurodiverse people, the LGBTQ+ community, and people experiencing complex health conditions including chronic pain, EDS, and autoimmune disorders. My approach to therapy incorporates Internal Family Systems (Level 1 trained), nervous system regulation awareness and tools, mindfulness, and other relational modalities. Being human while the world is on fire is not an easy task. We are constantly invited into relationship with grief, loss, anger, despair, hopelessness. How do we stay in contact with our aliveness, our longing to be connected, our commitments to living a life of purpose and integrity in the face of so much violence? I take an anti-oppressive approach to therapy, meaning I acknowledge the many interlocking systems of oppression that shape the material conditions of life and take into account how these systems impact you based on your particular set of identities and experiences. I am here to support you in remembering and living into the worthiness and dignity of all beings, yourself included. If you think you might want to work with me, reach out to set up a free 20-minute consultation so we can get to know each other a bit and see if we seem like a good fit for working together. My session fee for individual psychotherapy is $170 for 60 minutes, and accessibility is important to me so please ask me about sliding scale as needed and I'm happy to discuss that with you. I accept Medicaid and Optum/United Healthcare insurance currently and if you have a different insurance I can provide superbills and help you with getting reimbursed if you have out-of-network benefits.
