Introduction

Life can feel overwhelming. Maybe anxiety keeps your mind racing, relationships leave you emotionally drained, you're carrying the weight of past experiences, or you simply feel stuck and aren't sure how to move forward. Whatever brings you to therapy, you don't have to figure it out alone. With more than 15 years of experience in mental health, Sarah helps adolescents and adults better understand themselves, regulate emotions, strengthen relationships, and build lasting resilience. She has a special passion for helping people who want more than just a place to talk—they want practical tools, deeper understanding, and a clear path forward. One of Sarah's favorite parts of therapy is helping clients connect the dots between their thoughts, emotions, nervous system, relationships, and life experiences. She believes that when people understand why they think, feel, and react the way they do, they stop blaming themselves and start making meaningful change. Together, you'll uncover the patterns that keep you stuck and build practical skills to create healthier, lasting change. Sarah specializes in anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation, stress, self-worth, boundaries, relationship challenges, social anxiety, and life transitions. She is a Certified Trauma Therapist and integrates evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and trauma-informed care. For clients who desire it, Sarah is also happy to integrate Christian faith into the counseling process, thoughtfully blending evidence-based therapy with biblical principles in a way that supports each client's unique values and goals. Clients often describe Sarah as warm, insightful, down-to-earth, and encouraging. She believes the best therapy is both compassionate and practical—providing a safe place to process life's challenges while helping clients develop the skills and confidence to move forward. Sarah earned her Master's Degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and serves as the Owner and Director of Agape Counseling Center. Outside the office, she's a wife, mom, and self-proclaimed cat herder. She enjoys exploring flea markets, reading, spending time with her family, and grabbing a Starbucks refresher. Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply ready to understand yourself on a deeper level, Sarah would love to help you gain the insight, skills, and confidence to create lasting change.
