As a former educator and school social worker, I connect easily with youth and help them identify their strengths while recognizing areas where extra support can make a meaningful difference. I bring 20 years of experience in community and inpatient mental health, middle and high school and juvenile justice settings into my private practice. I am committed to meeting clients where they are and partnering with families to create a path toward resilience, autonomy and well-being. I champion youth who are navigating the challenges of adolescence—figuring out who they are and who they want to become. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe and affirming space where my clients feel seen, heard, and supported. I believe that every young person has strengths waiting to be recognized and built upon — and that therapy can be a place to discover those strengths. I draw from a variety of evidence-based approaches and have advanced training in working with youth with ADHD, helping them develop strategies that support focus, organization, and self-confidence both in and outside of school. I specialize in working with adolescents and young adults who may be: * Struggling with anxiety or depression * Recovering from trauma or difficult life experiences * Learning to manage ADHD or executive functioning challenges * Exploring their identity or sense of self * Seeking extra support in navigating school and social pressures My practice is neurodiverse-affirming and gender-affirming — I welcome and celebrate all identities. I bring a genuine sense of understanding and acceptance to my work with neurodivergent youth. In our work together, you can expect warmth, honesty, and collaboration. Therapy with me is a team effort — we’ll work together to identify what’s getting in your way, build new coping skills, and uncover the strengths that will help you move forward. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or just need someone to talk to, I’m here to support you in finding balance, clarity, and confidence as you grow into the person you want to become.
