Introduction

You don’t have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. You may just know that something isn’t working the way you want it to anymore. I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, trauma, grief and loss, ADHD and neurodivergence, identity, life transitions, self-worth, boundaries, and the complicated experiences that can leave you feeling stuck or unsure of what comes next. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and conversational. I’m not interested in sitting silently across from you and occasionally asking, “How does that make you feel?” I’ll ask questions, offer perspective, help you notice patterns, and work alongside you to understand not only why things are happening, but what you can actually do differently. My work is trauma-informed and integrates EMDR, DBT, relational, cognitive-behavioral, narrative, and family-systems approaches depending on your needs. I’m also an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist and strive to create a space where clients of different identities, backgrounds, relationships, and family structures feel respected and welcome. At New Range Counseling, therapy is about expanding the range of what feels possible: in how you understand yourself, navigate difficult emotions, connect with others, and decide what comes next. You don’t need to become a different person. Sometimes you just need more room to understand who you already are, more choice in how you respond, and a wider range of possibilities for where
