Forward Motion Therapy offers relationship-centered therapy for individuals and couples who want clarity, connection, and meaningful movement—not quick fixes or surface-level coping. I believe therapy is a practice: something we return to, live by, and allow to evolve over time. It has an ebb and flow. Some moments call for slowing down and understanding what’s underneath; others invite change and forward motion. My work focuses on relationships in all forms, including the relationship you have with yourself. I help people understand patterns without blame, hold both impact and intention, and create change without losing themselves. Therapy with me is collaborative, grounded, and direct, with a strong emphasis on emotional safety, honesty, and accountability without shame. I integrate approaches such as EMDR and the Gottman Method (Level 1) when helpful, and I am a member of Journey Clinical, allowing me to offer ketamine-assisted psychotherapy in collaboration with medical providers when appropriate. These tools support deeper insight and healing, always paired with thoughtful preparation and integration. I practice the same principles I invite my clients to practice. Therapy here is a steady place to meet life as it unfolds and to move forward with intention.
