Introduction

I’m Sarah Spund, a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, National Certified Counselor, and founder of Maryland Mindfulness & Mental Performance Counseling, LLC. I help adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults stay grounded under pressure. You may be navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, a major life transition, performance expectations, self-doubt, or the exhaustion of trying to hold everything together. Even when life looks fine from the outside, you may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unlike yourself internally. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and practical. I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR, mindfulness-based strategies, and mental performance techniques to help you better understand your experiences, work through difficult patterns, and build tools you can use in everyday life. Therapy with me includes compassion, curiosity, and honest reflection. We will create space for what you are carrying while also identifying the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be keeping you stuck. The goal is not to eliminate every difficult feeling or stressful moment. It is to help you feel more grounded, confident, and able to move through life’s challenges without losing yourself in the process. Virtual therapy is available to clients throughout Maryland.
