Introduction

Hi, I'm Sarah. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with a heart for walking alongside women through the perinatal journey. Whether you're trying to conceive, pregnant, navigating postpartum, or finding your footing in motherhood, I want you to know one thing: you don't have to carry it alone. Maybe you're constantly worried something is wrong. Maybe you feel guilty because you thought you'd enjoy pregnancy or motherhood more than you do. Maybe you're grieving the version of yourself that feels lost, wondering why everyone else seems to be handling this better than you. Or maybe you're simply exhausted from trying so hard to hold it all together. If any of that resonates with you, I want you to know that I see you. My passion for this work came from my own journey into motherhood. I learned that while so much attention is given to caring for the baby, very little is said about caring for the mother. I know what it's like to smile on the outside while quietly carrying anxiety, fear, guilt, or sadness on the inside. I also know how powerful it is to have someone sit with you in those moments, not to fix you, but to remind you that you were never meant to carry them by yourself. My hope is that our sessions feel like a place where you can finally exhale. A place where you don't have to pretend you're okay, have all the answers, or worry about being judged. Together, we'll make sense of what you're experiencing, celebrate the wins, grieve the losses, and build practical tools to help you move forward with confidence and self-compassion. I primarily use a client-centered approach and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), making sure to tailor therapy to your unique needs. When I'm not counseling, you'll usually find me spending time with my family and friends, playing board games or pickleball, taking our two dogs for a walk, or serving at my local church. If you've been telling yourself that you should be able to handle this on your own, I gently want to challenge that belief. Motherhood was never meant to be lived in isolation. You deserve support just as much as the people you care for every day. Wherever you are in your journey, I would be honored to walk alongside you.
