Sarah is a Licensed Addictions Counselor, with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She specializes in early recovery skills, is trained in dialectical behavioral therapy, and has extensive experience with family systems, co-occurring disorders, and healing from trauma. She brings a wealth of personal experience and professional training into the therapeutic environment and is well-versed in issues specific to substance use, gender identity, and sexuality. Her approach to therapy is like everything else in life, together we are better than alone. As a Colorado native, you can find her, outside of work, rock climbing, hiking, skiing, camping, and spending time with her dogs, and family. Sarah has been working in the mental health field for over a decade and has extensive experience in the co-occurring field. Her passion for recovery is both a personal and professional journey that drives her work with newly recovering individuals.
