Throughout my own journey, I have had the incredible honor of seeing how therapy can positively impact an individual. These events have been critical in my choice to become a therapist myself with hopes to support others in their own lives as they navigate what it means to be alive. Those who I have the privilege of working with are motivated to change, possess a courage to face maladaptive patterns while also acknowledging and uplifting the strengths they already possess. We can get stuck in cycles of anxiety or depression but through collaboration and work both in & out of the office, you too can live a full and rich life. Humility and empathy exist as core tenants in my approach to therapy. I'll meet you where you're at and acknowledge the value in your lived experiences. The stories we believe about ourselves, whether made by others or ourselves, can influence the way we act and react to the world. Using Narrative therapy as a lens, you can begin to take back ownership.
