Introduction

I accompany people on the journey of inhabiting life more fully with presence, insight, and healing. I have the privilege of witnessing clients experience wellness in the deepest parts of themselves. It is a great honor. I have provided therapy for those experiencing anxiety, depression, symptoms from complex trauma, PTSD, trauma related pain, chronic pain, somatic symptom disorders, insomnia, grief, existential crisis, and stage of life transitions. I am a certified neuropsychotherapist, which means I love the brain! Regardless of the modality used in session, my work is always with brain anatomy in mind, intentionally harnessing the power of neuroplasticity and your brain's incredible ability to change. I am an EMDR trained clinician with a certificate in Dream Tending from Dr. Stephen Aizenstat of Pacifica Graduate Institute. The integration of Dream Work with EMDR can be especially effective in neuropsychotherapy--EMDR has been shown to increase dream vividness and recall, and psychoanalytic dream work can explore narratives in the unconscious that are nourishing and replete with insight. Even nightmares can be transformed and mined for your benefit. I incorporate dream work and EMDR with Mindfulness Therapy, Somatic Therapy, Trauma Sleep Recovery, Grief Therapy, Strengths-Based Therapy, and SFBT. In my years as a spiritual director for anti-traffickers and survivors of sex trafficking, I had the honor of serving diverse people from across the US and internationally. While my therapy practice is distinct from my work in spiritual direction, I offer the same qualities of presence and attunement in therapy sessions. I earned a BA in Studio Art from Whitman College; I paint and draw, write and make music-- I experience the world through a lens of Beauty, and I approach therapy with this frame of reference. A person free to live from their most whole and authentic self is Beauty at work. It is a privilege to offer this healing work in our valley. If the above resonates with you, reach out for a free 15-minute consultation. Together we can explore whether my approach will support you on your journey.
