I provide weekly psychotherapy that is goal-oriented, evidence-based, and focused on the problems that interfere most with my clients’ day-to-day lives. Not only does this mean that I take an active and semi-structured approach in therapy sessions, but it also means that I focus on providing short- to medium-term therapy to my clients generally lasting 6-12 months so they can start to see improvements sooner rather than later. When I work with clients on a long-term basis, my approach remains targeted on clients’ long-term goals to ensure the maximum return on their investment. The therapies I offer include cognitive processing therapy (CPT) and prolonged exposure (PE) therapy for the treatment of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT) skills, and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) for chronic pain, insomnia, and depression.
