Welcome! I am Scarlett Saint George, AM, LCSW, CADC (she, her), and trauma-informed care is the core of my clinical philosophy. I believe healing begins when you’re met as a whole person—someone with strengths, history, and resilience—not a diagnosis. Trauma shapes how we experience safety, attachment, identity, interpersonal relationships, and our day-to-day life. I believe that understanding and processing your trauma history is an essential component of healing and growth. As a womxn of color living with a disability, I continuously strive to ensure that my practice is inclusive and support, historically marginalized populations, such as: individuals struggling with substance use (or other types of addiction), LGBTQ+ folx, and survivors of trauma. I provide anti-oppressive, affirmative, person-centered treatment built on your individual goals. Whether you’re seeking stabilization after a traumatic experience, tools and support for managing trauma symptoms, help navigating interpersonal relationships, effectively managing phobias, learning skills to help manage symptoms of depression, anxiety, and personality disorders, together, we will collaborate on the the development of your treatment plan at a pace that supports long-term stability. You are an expert in your life and by instilling autonomy and self determination in your care we can work through the issues you would like to address. Our practice see clients across all life domains and family structures. Therapy services are provided for individuals, couples, and families and encourage healthy communication, boundary setting, healing, strengthening interpersonal relationships, supporting a loved one struggling with substance use, and ensuring a safe space for all. Our therapeutic approaches integrate several different treatment modalities that are evidence-based and respect the importance of intersectionality when treating the whole person. We welcome the chance to walk alongside you in your healing journey.
