Introduction

I became a counselor because I've watched people I care about struggle, and helping others heal isn't just a job—it's personal. As a Louisiana Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Licensed Addiction Counselor (LAC) with over 20 years of experience, I work with individuals and families across the lifespan, from children through elders, addressing anxiety, depression, trauma, addiction, PTSD, grief, and much more. I bring a humanistic approach grounded in the belief that you already have what you need to grow—you just need empathy, genuine regard, and a judgment-free relationship to access it. I meet you exactly where you are, not where a textbook says you should be, building treatment plans around your unique history, culture, and goals. Whether you're navigating abandonment, domestic violence, gender identity, grief after divorce, or suicidal thoughts, I'm here to listen and support your healing. I offer telehealth sessions and accept most major insurance plans, including VA Community Care. I'm currently accepting new clients and would be honored to walk alongside you.
