Growing up in a dysfunctional household with abuse and neglect, I understand some of the unwanted effects our pasts can have on our present lives. I also understand how arduous the healing journey can be, and you do not have to make this journey alone! I believe that attachment to childhood caregivers, along with the roles we served in our family system throughout childhood, contribute to the ways we navigate the world in our adult lives. I enjoy working with individuals struggling with perfectionism, self-esteem, relationship issues, depression, and anxiety. I use an emotionally-focused, person-centered approach and utilize a blend of theories such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), internal family systems (IFS), and Gestalt Therapy. I would be honored to assist you on your journey of self-discovery and healing, as we uncover your unique strengths and explore new ways of living.
