You want to feel better, but you’re not sure where to start. We all have vulnerable parts which are begging for attention, affection, and acceptance, but how creating space for those parts to be present is easier said than done. Healing requires summoning the presence power of consciousness to change, but change requires safety and support. You’re not interested in talk therapy. Venting is validating, but you want sustainable change. You want the tools and the empowered confidence of being able to regulate your nervous system and live fully as yourself. All we need is effective space holding, in order to heal trauma and thrive. My trauma-informed somatic approach to therapy is based on the simple, realistic assumption that every human being is capable of change. We will focus on the present moment, and grounding into presence and purpose to foster development of psychological safety. I use an integrative approach of somatic and holistic therapies. My goal is for you to not need me. Maybe you have tried therapy before, and it did not work for you. Maybe you have never tried therapy before, and are afraid it will not help. Whether or not I am the right therapist to guide you through your healing journey, I am happy to speak with you about your goals, fears, strengths, and limitations. Sometimes all we need is someone to listen, and care.
