I provide detailed psychoeducation throughout therapy, ensuring that you can always understand the "why" behind symptoms and treatments. I utilize EMDR, DBT, and parts work (informed by Internal Family Systems). These treatments are complimented by my lived experience as a queer, neurodivergent therapist. In session, I approach your stories with curiosity. You are the expert on your life, and I bring the mental health knowledge. Together, we can pursue healing and growth in your life. In my life outside of therapy, I enjoy playing board games and D&D with my friends, watching Formula 1, or reading a good novel. My favorite quote from Anthony Doerr’s, All the Light We Cannot See, sums up my counseling philosophy: “Why else do any of this if not to become who we want to be?”
