Meet Shana Bujake, LMFT I'm Shana Bujake, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #152146) based in West Los Angeles, offering therapy in-person and via telehealth across California. I didn't set out to become a therapist. I found my way here through my own confusing chapter in a relationship — the kind that makes you ask real questions about who you are and what you actually need. Therapy helped me make sense of that, and in the process, it showed me something I hadn't expected: a genuine fascination with what drives people toward healing and growth, and what actually gets someone unstuck. That experience sent me to grad school, and it's what I bring into the room with every client now — I know firsthand what it feels like to be on the other side of this work. A lot of my clients come in feeling like they've tried everything — they understand their patterns intellectually, they've read the books, they've had the conversations — and something still feels stuck. That gap between knowing and actually feeling different is where we do our work together. My focus I specialize in relationships and relational trauma: healing from painful dynamics, understanding why love feels so hard, and working through things with a partner. I also work with individuals navigating anxiety, identity, life transitions, grief, and breakups. My approach I bring real warmth to this work, and I also bring skill. Using EMDR-informed methods, the Gottman Method, and mindfulness-based practices, I tailor every session to you — not a formula, not a script. Just genuine, focused attention on what you need most right now. Sessions with me are collaborative and honest. I ask the questions worth sitting with, reflect what I notice, and help you make sense of patterns that may have felt confusing or out of reach before. Getting started I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can talk about what you're looking for and whether we're a good fit — no pressure, no commitment, just a conversation.
