Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and their families. I believe that every child has an incredible capacity for growth, healing, and resilience when provided with a safe, accepting, and supportive environment. My approach is rooted in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT), an evidence-based model that recognizes play as a child's natural language and primary means of communication. Through play, children can explore their experiences, express emotions, develop problem-solving skills, and build confidence in their ability to navigate life's challenges. Rather than directing the child's process, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship characterized by empathy, acceptance, and genuine understanding, allowing children to discover their own strengths and solutions. For adolescents, I utilize a client-centered approach that emphasizes authentic connection, self-exploration, and emotional growth. I work collaboratively with clients to help them better understand themselves, strengthen self-worth, navigate anxiety and life transitions, and build trust in their own abilities. My goal is to provide a space where children, teens, and families feel seen, heard, and valued while supporting meaningful and lasting growth both inside and outside of the therapy room.
