Introduction

I believe that starting therapy is a personal decision, and that there is no one-size-fits-all approach to healing, finding the right therapist can make all the difference in that process. My goal is to create a warm, supportive space for you to feel heard, respected, and comfortable being yourself. I hold a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Georgia and a Master of Social Work from the University of South Carolina, and I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). As an LMSW with more than 25 years of experience, I have had the privilege of working with individuals in a variety of settings, including psychiatric hospitals with adolescents and adults, community group therapy, and private practice. These experiences have given me the opportunity to work with people from many different backgrounds and with a wide range of life experiences and challenges. My approach to therapy is personalized, You are unique and your therapy should be too. I take a personalized approach, drawing from different evidence-based theories and therapeutic approaches based on your individual needs, goals, and what feels right for you. My work may incorporate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Therapy, and Strength-Based Therapy. Most importantly, I believe you are the expert on your own life. My role is to come alongside you, offer support and guidance, and help you develop the tools and insight you nee
