Introduction

Shannon P. Guidry, LMFT I'm Shannon P. Guidry, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with more than a decade of experience walking alongside people through some of life's hardest seasons. I provide telehealth therapy to individuals and couples in California, Utah, and Idaho. My work is rooted in a simple belief: every person has the capacity to heal, grow, and live with greater purpose. My role is to create a safe, respectful space where that can happen — at your pace and on your terms. How I Work I listen first. Before anything else, I want to understand your story, your struggles, and what you're hoping for. From there, we work together, drawing on several approaches tailored to your needs: Existential Therapy (meaning, purpose, and the choices that shape your life); Acceptance and Commitment Therapy/ACT (making room for difficult feelings and acting on what matters); Choice and Reality Therapy (practical, present-day decisions); and Christian Counseling (available when you want your faith integrated into our work). If faith is an important part of your life, you're welcome to bring it fully into the room. If it isn't, that's welcome too. My goal is to honor who you are and support what you value. A Little About Me Outside of my practice, I'm a husband, father, and grandfather. My wife and I travel full-time, which is part of why I'm passionate about telehealth — good care should be accessible wherever life takes you. What to Expect Therapy can stir up real emotions, and growth sometimes feels uncomfortable before it feels freeing. You won't go through it alone. I'll be a steady, supportive presence every step of the way. Your privacy matters: our sessions are confidential, and I'll always be clear about how your information is protected and the limited situations where disclosure is required by law. Let's work together to help you move forward with clarity, purpose, and faith. Book your appointment today and take the next step toward healing.
