Hey, I’m Shanta Jackson, a Licensed Professional Counselor Supervisor in Texas and Georgia, and the founder of Homegirl Therapy Services based in Dallas. With over a decade of experience working in communities, hospitals, and clinics, I created this space because I saw a need for something different...therapy that feels real, relatable, and rooted in culture. I specialize in working with Black women and people of color who are ready to drop the mask, stop the code-switching, and finally show up as their full selves. I help people rebuild the most important relationship they have...the one with themselves. This isn’t surface-level work. It’s about getting real, healing deeply, and coming home to who you truly are. My approach is down-to-earth, affirming, and always led with heart. You won’t find judgment here, just a therapist who gets it, holds space, and walks with you through the messy, beautiful work of growth. Outside the therapy room, I’m a wife, a boy mom, a proud plant mama and a first time gardener. I live for family time, quiet moments with a good book, true crime documentaries, or tending to my garden! If you’re ready to do the inner work and find your way back to yourself. I’ve got you. Let’s get to it, together.
