I am a licensed psychotherapist dedicated to helping individuals and families navigate the mental health challenges that impact their lives. My areas of focus include developmental disorders, ADHD, opposition and defiance, anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, substance use and addictions, anger, family and relational issues, women’s issues, spirituality, and all aspects of trauma, including racial, gender, and cultural trauma. My therapeutic approach has been shaped through both academic and clinical experience, as well as extensive postgraduate training. I draw on evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Therapies, Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Family Therapy approaches, Play Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Mindfulness-Based practices. This integrative framework allows me to meet each client where they are, tailoring treatment to their unique needs and goals. Beyond direct therapy, I have extensive experience collaborating with medical and mental health professionals, school staff, and community organizations. This team-based perspective helps clients gain relief from symptoms while also fostering insight, reducing disruptive or problematic behaviors, strengthening relationships, and enhancing overall well-being. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and empowering space where clients can heal, grow, and thrive.
