Shari is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) whose dedication to the military community is deeply rooted in her own family history. As the proud daughter of a veteran and the granddaughter of two veterans, she brings a personal understanding of military culture into her clinical practice, allowing her to build immediate, authentic connections with the individuals she serves. A first-generation Texan and a proud graduate of the University of Houston (Go Coogs!), Shari has spent most of her career providing specialized behavioral health services exclusively to veterans. Shari has extensive clinical experience helping individuals overcome complex mental health matters as well as common life challenges. Her expertise includes treating symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD (Combat/non-Combat), grief and loss, and life transitions. Believing that healing involves the whole person, Shari adopts a holistic, mind-body-spirit approach to healing. Shari uses an eclectic, integrative style. She combines traditional evidence-based therapeutic modalities with alternative, naturalistic interventions to deliver comprehensive, personalized care tailored to fully support each person’s healing journey.
