Welcome to Psyche Renovations LLC. My name is Sharon Laudick and I have served individual, couples, and families for over 25 years. I hold a Clinical Marriage & Family License, as well as a Clinical License in Addictions Counseling. I am licensed is Kansas with the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board, as well as in Missouri with Missouri Division of Professional Registration. I believe therapy should be collaborative and focused on meaningful change. Most people aren’t looking to spend years in therapy—they want clarity, relief, and practical tools that help them move forward. My approach is designed to provide insight, motivation, and direction so clients can create the changes they want in their lives. I draw primarily from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Family Systems Therapy. These approaches allow us to identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thinking, and strengthen personal and relational functioning in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming. I work with individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, and LGBTQIA+ related issues. My style is direct and often infused with humor—because growth doesn’t have to feel heavy to be effective. Clients often appreciate my honest feedback and goal-oriented focus, which help keep therapy both productive and grounded. For insurances I do not accept, I offer self-pay and sliding scale fees which are based off Federal Poverty Levels (FPL) and these are outlined under "Areas of Specialty". I also will provide a Superbill which insurance companies accept for reimbursement directly to you.
