As of September 28th, 2006, we are moving to 200 W. Douglas--Suite #555 Psyche Renovations has two marriage and family therapists available to assist with various life issues and struggles. Sharon Laudick holds a Clinical Marriage & Family License, as well as a Clinical License in Addictions Counseling. She is licensed in Kansas with the Kansas Behavioral Science Regulatory Board, as well as in Missouri with Missouri Division of Professional Registration. She has served individuals, couples, and families for over 25 years. She believes therapy should be collaborative and focused on meaningful change. Her approach is designed to provide insight, motivation, and direction so clients can create the changes they want in their lives. Sharon draws primarily from Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), and Family Systems Therapy. These approaches allow clients to identify patterns, challenge unhelpful thinking, and strengthen personal and relational functioning in a way that feels empowering rather than overwhelming. She works with individuals and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, and LGBTQIA+ related issues. Her unique style is direct and often infused with humor—because growth doesn’t have to feel heavy to be effective. Clients often appreciate my honest feedback and goal-oriented focus, which help keep therapy both productive and grounded. Sharon accepts all major insurances for reimbursement, as well as self-pay for mental health therapy. ~~~~~~~~~~~~ Michael is a Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist who works with adults, couples, and families. His work is grounded in attachment theory and focused on helping people understand their patterns, improve their relationships, and feel more secure in themselves and with others. He brings a warm, friendly, and caring presence into the therapy space, while also being direct and honest. Michael believes clients deserve clarity, not guesswork. Therapy with him is collaborative, practical, and grounded in real life, not clinical jargon or endless analysis. Michael’s work is to create an environment where people feel safe, understood, and challenged in the right ways. His goal is to help clients develop insight, strengthen connections, and move forward with greater confidence and emotional stability.
