Introduction

Worried that therapy won't give you the results you're hoping for? It took a lot for you to even try to find a therapist, much less finding the right one. What if you could find therapy who tracked progress, was results driven, and focused on helping you find lasting change? Well, that's what is offered with me at Nuanced Counseling. It's EMDR counseling, but nuanced just for you! I use a brain-informed, evidence-based approach to help clients heal from the lasting effects of trauma and anxiety. As an EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist, I specialize in working with individuals navigating toxic relationships, narcissistic abuse recovery, high-conflict divorce, attachment wounds, PTSD, and transitions out of high-control religious environments. Through EMDR, I support clients in processing emotional trauma and finding relief from chronic stress, including its effects on physical health, autoimmune issues, and nervous system dysregulation. With a deep understanding of how trauma impacts both the brain and body, I aim to help clients experience meaningful and lasting change. I also offer a compassionate, individualized approach for those in high-demand careers or caregiving roles, recognizing the significant—yet often invisible—emotional burdens they carry.
