Introduction

Shauna enjoys working with clients of all ages and stages of life. Her background in social work and many years of pouring into her roles of wife and mother have given her life experience and passion that she brings to her role as a counselor. She earned her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Augusta University. It is Shauna's goal to work alongside her clients to help them create healthier and more satisfying lives. In counseling, she thoughtfully considers how clients' life experiences affect their present-day lives. Shauna utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Exposure and Response Prevention (for anxiety and OCD), and trauma therapy. In addition, she is able to provide counseling from a Christian worldview. Aside from counseling, Shauna loves interior design, eating lots of chocolate, and spending time with family and friends.
